BASIC PURPOSE
Operate an industrial forklift to perform material handling assignments. Identify and transport material to and from storage areas and loading dock. Operate forklift/high-lift in order to lower stock to ground level pick-level slots from higher level reserve slots during night shift & day shift, and to put received stock in higher level storage slots during the day shift using safe operating practices.
Join our US FOODS® team on either the **Outbound Shift** (Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 AM start) or the **Inbound Shift** (Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM start). Starting pay is **$28.05/hour** , with top performers earning up to **$29.22/hour** , plus incentive pay and shift premiums.

**What You’ll Do**
+ Operate powered industrial forklifts to transport palletized product from docks to designated warehouse slots—secure loads to prevent damage or injury
+ Replenish pick slots from reserve areas, ensuring our order‐fulfillment teams never run out of stock
+ Perform daily pre‐start equipment and safety checks (battery, brakes, lift controls, fire extinguisher) and report any issues
+ Accurately record all product movements and equipment status in our warehouse management system
+ Maintain aisle and rack cleanliness by clearing debris, keeping work areas safe and organized
**What You Bring**
+ OSHA-compliant forklift certification (required)
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ Basic math skills and the ability to read/write legibly
+ Comfort working in multi‐temperature environments (freezer to ambient)
+ Prior forklift or material‐handling experience is a plus
+ A strong safety mindset and a team‐oriented attitude
Your pay depends on relevant experience, education, skills, and location. The base rate for both shifts is **$28.05–$29.22 per hour** , with additional incentives and premiums available.
