Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team on the 1st shift. This role involves operating sit-down forklifts powered by gas, stacking and moving recycling materials and garbage, and transporting materials throughout the facility. You will be responsible for emptying full containers and performing general preventative maintenance on forklift equipment. This position requires versatility, as everyone in the facility helps out wherever needed. The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings and involves working around garbage, which can be dirty, hot, and loud.
ResponsibilitiesOperate sit-down forklifts and other equipment such as skid steers and balers.Stack and move recycling materials and garbage.Transport materials throughout the facility and empty full containers.Perform general preventative maintenance on forklift equipment.Assist in various tasks throughout the facility as needed.Essential Skills2-5 years of forklift operating experience.Proficiency in material handling.Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs+).Experience with heavy equipment and general labor.Additional Skills & Qualifications1+ year of small equipment operating experience.Experience with skid steer, loader, and pallet jack operations.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
