Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for off-loading and on-loading all types of freight from containers using a propane sit-down counterbalance forklift. This position requires you to operate the forklift approximately 80% of your shift, navigating tight quarters with precision and safety. You will manage paper shipping documents and, in the near future, transition to using complex digital shipping software. Your expertise in handling various shapes and weights of freight is essential.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, operating 24 hours a day depending on truck arrivals and departures. You will work alongside approximately 50 operators per shift, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of a wide variety of products, from fridges to tires. Steel-toed boots are required, and shifts are scheduled Monday to Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM.

Pay and Benefits
