**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator at a LTL Freight Cross Dock in Calgary. This role involves operating a Sit Down Counter Balance forklift to efficiently manage freight loading and unloading, along with various other duties to ensure smooth operations. **Responsibilities** + Operate a Sit Down Counter Balance forklift to load and unload trailers. + Assist with moving pallets and hand bombing products weighing up to 50lbs. + Handle bills of lading and other paperwork throughout the shift. + Support team members with unloading paperwork and cleaning the yard. + Ensure the dock is clean and free of debris for safety reasons. **Essential Skills** + 1 year experience operating a Sit Down Counter Balance forklift. + Experience in loading and unloading trailers using a forklift. + Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the shift. + Adaptability to fast-paced environments. + Valid forklift ticket (in-house or private). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Safety vest (strongly recommended). + Leadership experience. + RF Scanner experience. + Experience with Waybill/Bill of Lading. **Why Work Here?** We offer excellent growth opportunities, including a 3% annual wage increase, a yearly bonus, and a boot allowance. The role involves various tasks, including paperwork and forklift operation, requiring adaptability. The facility features 68 bay doors and 16 forklifts, with similar operations in Vancouver but with higher ceilings. Shifts run Monday to Friday from 1:30pm to 10:00pm.
