Mechanic - Forklift
Our client, a manufacturing leader in Appleton, WI, is seeking a Forklift Mechanic to join their team. As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Mechanic

Location: Appleton, WI

Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Shift: Day Shift, schedule to be determined

What's the Job?

Perform routine maintenance on all powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) according to manufacturer specifications. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with PIVs to ensure optimal performance and safety. Conduct thorough inspections of PIVs to identify potential problems and address them proactively. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on each PIV, including maintenance schedules and parts inventory. Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete repair tasks in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

What's Needed?

Proven experience in maintaining forklifts and roll clamps. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to train other maintenance personnel and PIV operators.
