**Job Title:** Forklift Operator **Location:** Union City, CA **Job Type:** Full-time **Schedule:** 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday, Day shift **Posting Note:** To be considered for this job, please complete the forklift and warehouse assessment tests. **Description:** We are seeking an experienced reach truck forklift operator to test robotic forklifts and help improve reliability and the operator experience. You will operate forklifts both manually and via automation technology, working with engineers to identify and implement improvements. **Pay:** $22–$25/hr; overtime paid for anything over 8 hours daily **Responsibilities:** + Operate forklifts in warehouse environments. + Manage autonomous forklifts via software systems. + Coordinate with engineers on forklift operations and testing new features. + Provide feedback on the operator console. + Perform standard warehouse tasks: unloading, inspecting, stocking, picking, packing, staging, and creating shipping manifests. + Assist with shipments, deliveries, and testing support. + Maintain documentation of product issues and safety reports. **Skills & Qualifications:** + Minimum 2 years of reach truck and counterbalance forklift experience. + Current OSHA forklift certification for indoor operation. + Experience with warehouse software and standard office tools is a plus. + Clean background and driving record required. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Physical Requirements:** + Standing and walking 8 hours/day + Bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting (light to heavy) + Finger dexterity and grasping + Ability to balance and kneel as required + Visual and auditory capabilities to perform tasks safely **Mental Requirements:** + Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively. + Decision-making, reasoning, and organizational skills for a fast-paced warehouse environment. + Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. **Pay Details:** $21.00 to $25.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
