Job Title: Forklift Dishwasher

Location: The Forklift Restaurant - Snowbird

Summary:We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at the Forklift restaurant located at the Snowbird Center. As a crucial member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.   Your role is essential to maintaining a smooth and efficient operation in our restaurant.Responsibilities:Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.Ensure that all dishes are properly sanitized and stored.Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dishwasher, hand wash stations, and trash compactors.Follow sanitation policies and procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.Assist with kitchen duties such as cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, countertops, and floors.Dispose of trash, recycling, broken glassware and fryer oil in accordance with restaurant guidelines.Maintain inventory of dishwashing supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.Requirements:Proven experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred but not required.State of Utah Food Handler's Permit.Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed.Attention to detail and conscientiousness regarding hygiene and cleanliness.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 30 pounds) and withstand long hours on your feet.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.Must be 18+Food Handler Permit.Demonstrate competency in operating dish machines and chemicalsRequires some exercise of judgement within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval. Requires problem solving and initiation of activities within job description and have a strong understanding of other Snowbird operations.

SCHEDULE

Shifts vary, may be early morning to late afternoon, weekends, holidays, depending on business levelsMust be prepared to stay overnight, if necessary, on occasional times of road closures
