The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise efficiently and safely. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials. + Move products to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks. + Perform daily equipment checks and report any mechanical issues. + Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts. + Follow all safety procedures and company policies. + Keep work areas clean and organized. + Assist with general warehouse duties as needed. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). + Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. + Good communication and teamwork skills. **Preferred Skills:** + Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS). + Knowledge of OSHA safety standards. + Ability to operate different types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck). **Work Environment:** + Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures. + May require standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
