Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Wet Utility Installation Specialist to join our team. This full-time role involves working on heavy utility installations across central and southern Maryland, focusing on reading plans, setting manholes, and storm drain structures. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety and productivity while adhering to OSHA and MOSHA guidelines.

ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret plans and grade sheets.Set manholes and storm drain structures.Commute to job sites within central and southern Maryland.Operate a crew in a safe and productive manner according to OSHA and MOSHA guidelines.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in wet utility installation.Proficiency in excavation, underground utilities, and site development.Ability to operate heavy equipment including dozers, front end loaders, and excavators.Experience in utility construction, including sewer, water, and storm line laying.Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsExcellent communication and organizational skills.Reliable attendance with a positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.Legally authorized to work in the United States.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position involves outdoor work on civil projects. It offers a dynamic work environment with varying daily hours dependent on weather conditions. The dress code is suitable for outdoor utility work. Some weekend and night shifts may be available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gambrills, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
