This position will be responsible for the successful prototype builds and launch of production, Ford Racing car programs. You will represent engineering and program management to our partners in NMP and VO. Success in this job requires the experience and capability to effectively:
You will be looked to for team leadership during fast-paced, stressful situations. The ability to remain calm, provide clear direction, and stay focused on solving problems are keys to success in this role.
You'll have...
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or Communications
· Experience with prototype builds and launch experience within LQOS framework
· 2-4 years of combined experience in Program Management, NMP, VO, PVT, PMT and/or D&R
· Program management experience with GPDS and LQOS, including a thorough understanding of milestone deliverables and working knowledge of process sheets
· Familiarity with Ford PD systems like WERS, Jira, PDL inputs (MFAL / part structure including Color & Material), Alerts, Open To Go, TeamCenter
· Strong leadership skills with ability and discipline to drive a team to resolution with work plans and accountability
· A Passion for Performance vehicles, have a “can-do/results-driven” attitude and be able to maintain positive/productive working relationships across multiple corporate cultures
· High degree of self-motivation and willingness to commit extra effort to get the job done
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Tier 2 Driver Certification (training available if not already Tier 2)

Support all Build and Launch forums to ensure FP POV is clearly communicated to leadership
Lead resolution of all Open / Pending Design Jira and Build Issues for Ford Racing Car Programs Provide weekly status updates in program PST, lead Major Matters and represent engineering in Hard Rocks/related launch forums Support Change Control, launch and prototype build daily start-ups at NMPDC and/or FRAP, R202 vehicle attribute drive evaluations of pre-production units, and communication with leadership Maintain all Launch metrics Ensure our engineering teams support required timing and quality objectives
