Monitor equipment including, but not limited to refrigerators, stove, ovens, etc. + **Food safety standards:** Follow standards to ensure food is safely prepared. Ensure food cool down procedures are followed. Understand food safety regarding cross contamination. + **Recipes:** Be able to read & execute standardized recipes. Must be able to read & speak English + **Stocking and Inventory Control:** Regularly check and restock food and beverage supplies in storage areas and kitchenettes, maintaining adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs. + **Safety & sanitation:** Understand safe cleaning & sanitation requirements for food preparation & station sanitation. + **Dishwashing:** Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. + **Cleaning and Sanitization:** Assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
