Job Title: Line Cook & Pizza Prep – Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $19.24 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday OR Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (depending on role)
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking Line Cooks and Pizza Prep Cooks for temporary, possibly temp-to-hire positions with our client, a busy and well-established food service operation located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. These roles involve working on active cooking stations to prepare and serve freshly made dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Successful candidates will bring strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude.
As a Line Cook, you will:
Operate active stations including Mediterranean, Tex-Mex, or Asian-themed areas

Prep and cook ingredients for fresh, made-to-order bowls

Maintain a clean and organized cooking station

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
As a Pizza Prep Cook, you will:
Prep ingredients and assemble pizzas according to menu specifications

Cook pizzas to order at the pizza station

Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas

Support a steady workflow (with lighter volume on Fridays)

Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
The ideal candidate for these roles will have:
Previous line cook or food preparation experience

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen

Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Dependability and a positive, team-oriented approach

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
