Responsibilities include but are not limited to menu planning, staff management, development, training and evaluation of systems and processes to achieve department goals.
Planning, organizing, directing and evaluating of all phases of the department.Managing budget and cost control, menu planning, quality food procurement, food preparation and service, administrative record keeping, maintaining high standards of nutritional care, quality improvement and quality control.Leading trainings of Food Services personnel to ensure safety and sanitation procedures are being followed. Scheduling Food Services personnel.Calculating menus in accordance with diet order and nutritional needs of patients. QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
Five or more years in a management capacity in a Food and Nutrition department or healthcare food service department required.Completion of a state or local approved food safety course required.Thorough knowledge of food products and service, operations, staffing, handling, storage and regulatory requirements required.Preferred qualifications that will make you successful:
