Presbyterian is seeking a Cook-I 

Cook-I is responsible for preparing hot food items for all areas of the department. Prepare food for cold prep, grab and go, and bulk production. Prep food items as needed for menu cycles

This is a Full Time position - Exempt: NoJob is based at Rev Hugh Cooper Admin CenterWork hours: Days

Ideal Candidate:

One to three years experience in high volume food preparation and cooking of food in a hotel, restaurant, cafeteria, catering firm, government or private institution.

Qualifications High School/GED preferred. Responsibilities Assists in the preparation of hot food items for all areas as indicated by menu cycles.Responsible for preliminary preparation of food items for next day as indicated by menu cycle. Ability to read production ticketsAssists with routine cleaning and sanitation of areas.Assists with serving food items as indicated by established workflowMust demonstrate competency in knife skillsMust demonstrate competency in food service safety practices and procedures, and temperature controlAssists with other duties as needed Benefits
