About the Role

 

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Food Safety Supervisor to join our FMCG operations in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing food safety standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing best practices throughout the production and supply chain processes. A strong understanding of UAE regulations and practical experience in the FMCG environment is essential.

  Key Responsibilities

 

Develop, implement, and monitor food safety systems and hygiene practices across production facilities. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and UAE food safety regulations. Train and educate staff on food safety protocols and hygiene standards. Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with QA, production, and maintenance teams to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards. Maintain detailed documentation and prepare reports for regulatory authorities and internal use. Stay up to date with local and international food safety legislation and practices. Support certification and renewal processes related to food safety (e.g., ISO, HACCP).   Requirements

 

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in food safety and hygiene roles, with at least 1 year in the UAE FMCG industry. In-depth knowledge of UAE food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP standards. Excellent communication and training skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in reporting, audit tools, and MS Office applications. Certification in food safety systems is an advantage (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).   What We Offer
