Food Safety & Quality Technician
Job Title: Food Safety & Quality Technician Location: Carlisle, IA Hours/Schedule: 3rd shift- 11pm - 7am Type: Contract Overview Global food manufacturer looking for experienced FSQ Technician to support various plant Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) functions to ensure safe and high-quality finished products. Responsibilities + Support FSQ programs through various analytical testing, physical auditing, verification and administrative duties. + Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and sanitation program compliance through daily and monthly verification and audits. + Support plant HACCP program implementation through record verification. + Partner with operation managers, team leaders and Quality Engineers to support production, decision making, issue management and risk assessment. + Manage hold orders and plant sensory program. + Provide training in the area of food safety, regulatory, sanitation and quality measurement systems to appropriate plant personnel. + Support additional FSRA (Food Safety & Regulatory Assessment) and plant activities as assigned. + Be trained as a primary back-up to the flour lab technician responsible for flour quality monitoring and specification compliance.
