Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Food Runner to join our poolside service team. The Pool Area Food Runner is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and professional delivery of food and beverage orders to guests relaxing in our pool area. This role supports servers and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:Promptly deliver food and beverage items from the kitchen or bar to poolside guests.
Ensure accuracy of orders and presentation meets company standards before delivery.
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner when delivering items.
Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the poolside service area.
Communicate any guest needs, feedback, or issues to servers or supervisors promptly.
Refill water and assist with other guest requests as needed.
Support the setup and breakdown of poolside food and beverage service stations.
Maintain awareness of guest safety and adhere to poolside policies (e.g. no glass by the pool).
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to keep service flow smooth and efficient.
Qualifications Qualifications:Previous experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak season hours.
