Mankato Hours & Pay:
Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM | $17.75/hr
Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | $19.25/hr
Rotating Schedule: One week you work 36 hours, the next 48 hours!
About the Roles & ResponsibilitiesPackagers: Responsible for accurately and efficiently packaging food products according to quality standards, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Machine Tenders: Operate and monitor various packaging machinery, ensuring smooth operation, troubleshooting minor issues, and performing routine quality checks. Mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach are key.
Blender Operators: Oversee the blending of ingredients according to recipes, ensuring precise measurements and consistent product quality. Requires strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions.
General Duties:
Maintain a clean and organized production area to promote a safe work environment.
Inspect and remove defective product from the production and packaging line.
Identify and setup correct raw materials, recipes and utensils associated with each product.
Execute exact measurements per recipe to ensure gold standard is met.
Operate multiple electric kettles, simultaneously and efficiently.
Assemble items into cases or displays, package bags and palletize finished product to match specification.
Skills & QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Previous experience in food manufacturing or handling food ingredients.
Physical Requirements: Ability to consistently lift, move, and dump up to 50 lbs throughout your shift; ability to stand, bend, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Environment: Comfortable working in a production environment, which includes exposure to dry, dusty ingredients.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic math, reading scales, and following detailed written instructions.
Core Strengths: Exceptional attention to detail, a strong commitment to food safety and cleanliness, and excellent reliability and punctuality.
