Position Summary:
The Food Pantry Coordinator oversees food drive and community meal program activities for the area to which they are assigned. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.
Essential Job Functions:
Oversees food pantry operations including pick-up and delivery to the agency of food for the food pantry; Prepares requisitions for food and commodities as needed, and receives and properly stores all deliveries; Assists with gathering food from different locations to bring to the pantry site; Maintains high health standards, cleanliness, and sanitation, including the wearing of hairnets and/or caps at all times within food pantry area; Maintains kitchen, pantry, and food storage environments that are in compliance with Health Department standards; Ensures that equipment is in good operating condition and that the temperatures are within proper standards; Remains aware of fire and safety hazards and report repair/maintenance needs; Embraces and embodies the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation; Performs any other duties as assigned.
