Sodexo School Services provides essential food management solutions to school districts across the country and we are currently seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 for the Lake Washington School District located in Redmond, WA. The ideal candidate will be a self sufficient manager capable of acting independently to drive successful outcomes for the unit. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. What You'll Do

Create and maintain a safe work environment for all employees

Utilize Sodexo tools to build strong client, customer, and staff relationships

Oversee daily food service operations and ensure regulatory compliance

Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with client goals

Monitor financial performance and ensure budgetary goals are met

Support HR standards and ensure consistent team development

What You Bring

Experience managing child nutrition food service operations (National School Lunch Program, NSLP preferred)

Strong culinary background with an eye for operational efficiency

Commitment to employee training, engagement, and safety

Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred). Valid driver's license is required.

Ability to prioritize tasks and lead with flexibility and professionalism

Proficiency in computer systems and strong reporting skills

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
