Job Description

Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our team on a full-time basis.

As a valued team member, you will oversee and support the F&B team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences by:

Leading, motivating, and coaching the food and beverage teamMonitoring service standards and ensuring consistency across all shiftsManaging guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionallySupporting inventory management, stock control, and daily operational tasksCollaborating with management to maintain high-quality service and operational efficiency

Our recently refurbished property introduces a sophisticated dining and bar experience, showcasing panoramic views over Lake Wakatipu.

Newly refurbished, upscale hotel food and beverage operationCurated wine cellar featuring some of New Zealand’s finest winesSeasonal menu by Chef Gerhard Gerber, focused on seasonal New Zealand seafood, meats, and produce

Shift Details (subject to change):

Shifts scheduled between 3.00pm -11.30pmMust be available to work weekendsCurrently, we are only accepting applications from candidates who have working rights within New Zealand.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a food and beverage environmentStrong understanding of hospitality operations and high-quality service deliveryExcellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skillsProfessional presentation and the ability to lead by exampleReliability and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
