Food & Beverage Service Technician - Trinidad & Tobago

Join Ecolab’s industry leading Food & Beverage team as a Service Technician. We are increasing food safety and product quality, enhancing sustainability and boosting operational efficiency. We provide cleaning and sanitation solutions to food, beverage, and dairy manufacturing environments through a dual focus on sales and technical service/consultation to new and existing customers. This is an entry level sales position responsible for selling Food & Beverage products/services by interacting with established customers and developing new sales prospects. ­

What You Will Do:

Execute Service strategy surveys, process checks and reporting through:

Performing field tests, preparing reports, and delivering training

Performing field tests, preparing reports, and delivering training

Establish, verify, and document hygiene plans and parameters through regular customer visits

Address customer needs and concerns

Install and repair equipment at customer facilities

Ensure compliance with customer-defined equipment maintenance goals

Support the rollout of new service programs and concepts

Meet monthly safety indicators and enter data into the company system

Propose new ways to improve service delivery

Provide recommendations related to safety standards and protocols

Position Details:

Candidate must reside in: Trinidad & Tobago

Work week and shift: Availability to work outside regular hours

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma

Preferably a 2-year technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical fields (or current engineering student)

2 years of experience in technical service roles (preferably in food and beverage plants)

Knowledge or aptitude in electrical and mechanical systems

Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word

Must have a valid and up-to-date driver’s license with an excellent driving record

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 kilograms at chest height

Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and hot/cold environments

Physical capacity to perform essential job functions, including lifting, bending, kneeling, leaning, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, speaking, and listening

Ability to pass a physical exam and drug screening
