JOB DESCRIPTION
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As Food and Beverage Manager, you are responsible for assisting the Director of Food & Beverage in managing operations of all Food and Beverage outlets to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. Food and Beverage Manager will also be required to manage, train, and develop team members and work within all budgeted guidelines. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
In conjunction with the Director of F&B, manage all Food and Beverage Outlet operations
Maintain a strong guest-focused approach, proactively addressing needs and delivering exceptional service at all times.
Take personal responsibility, resolve issues effectively, and communicate clearly with guests and colleagues.
Demonstrate motivation, enthusiasm, flexibility, and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Foster teamwork, collaboration, and support to achieve departmental and resort goals.
Uphold and champion Waldorf Astoria Brand Standards, “True Waldorf Service,” and “Live Unforgettable” experiences.
Ensure full compliance with service delivery standards, quality audits, grooming, safety, hygiene, and resort policies.
Oversee beverage operations, including menu planning, cocktail promotions, recipe standardization, and cost control.
Maintain accurate beverage pricing, forecasting, inventory management, and POS system updates.
Drive upselling strategies, revenue targets, and proactive sales of resort facilities and F&B events.
Monitor financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, price reviews, and cost awareness initiatives.
Develop operational tools, purchasing procedures, and administrative planning to support business objectives.
Conduct market research, monitor trends, and reposition outlets to remain competitive and innovative.
Lead training, coaching, performance management, and talent development to build a high-performing team.
Collaborate with HR on recruitment, retention, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
Act as a commercial, creative, and professional ambassador of the resort, demonstrating leadership, initiative, and strong business acumen

Prioritization skills necessary to meet deadlines
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Degree/ Diploma in relevant area, ideally Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management
