The Food & Beverage Manager performs a key role on the hotel team by ensuring employee and guest satisfaction in every aspect of the food and beverage operation. What you'll be doing... Manage Hotel Bar and Restaurant (HBAR)Lead day-to-day operations of the hotel bar and restaurant to ensure exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction
Ensure all staff receive comprehensive training on service quality, brand standards, and operational procedures; regularly follow up to reinforce learning and sustain service excellence
Provide the necessary tools, equipment, and resources to enable staff to perform their job functions effectively and safely Achieve and consistently maintain budgeted food and beverage revenues through proactive planning, upselling strategies, and operational controls Manage labor costs to meet or exceed budget targets by implementing effective scheduling, forecasting, and labor management practices Establish, monitor, and achieve quality assurance and guest satisfaction goals, leveraging guest feedback and service recovery initiatives Maintain food and liquor costs within established targets through inventory controls, waste reduction, vendor management, and recipe adherence Maintain a visible and engaged floor presence during peak meal periods to ensure optimal guest service, resolve issues promptly, and support staff performance Conduct routine brand standard audits designed to ensure optimal service execution Manage Starbucks Outlet Operations Oversee daily operations of the on-property Starbucks outlet, ensuring brand standards, service quality, and operational excellence are consistently maintained Sustain and grow daily Starbucks food and beverage sales through effective merchandising, staffing, and guest engagement strategies Manage product ordering, storage, and inventory levels to ensure availability while minimizing waste and controlling costs Ensure compliance with Starbucks operational standards, food safety requirements, and brand guidelines Train, coach, and supervise Starbucks partners to deliver a fast, friendly, and brand-consistent guest experience Place Operational OrdersBreakfast, dinner, beer, wine, liquor, Vistar & Pepsi, maximizing revenues and cost of sales %. Lead all Banquets & Catering Operations Complete additional duties as assigned by hotel leadership Requirements... Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to prepare and analyze data figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required Strong administrative skills, to include business writing, mathematics for basic accounting and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Ability to stand and walk for hours at a time Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally Understand this role requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, bending, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
