Job Description

Oaks Gladstone Grand Hotel is looking for a dynamic and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our café team and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

This is a full-time position with regular morning and weekend shifts.

In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of our café, ensuring guests enjoy first-class service and presentation every time. You’ll lead by example, inspire your team, and work closely with the kitchen to maintain our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate daily floor operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service.Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to achieve operational and service goals.Build a strong knowledge of our food and beverage offerings to confidently promote them to guests.Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver consistent quality and presentation.Supervise, train, and support Food & Beverage Attendants to perform at their best.

Qualifications

To be a success in this position, you will have:

12+ months in a supervisory role within hospitality.Minimum 3 years’ experience in a restaurant, cafe or hotel environment.Exceptional communication and customer service skills.A proactive, positive, and professional attitude.Strong self-motivation and the confidence to lead a team.Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar (advantageous but not essential).Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings.
