Job Summary:
As a Sommelier, you will curate and elevate the wine experience for our guests through expert knowledge, personalized recommendations, and refined service. You'll manage the wine program, including inventory, staff education, and pairing selections, ensuring alignment with our culinary offerings and service standards. Your passion for wine and hospitality will enhance both guest satisfaction and the restaurant’s overall excellence.
Job Duties & Functions:
Education & Experience:
2+ years of experience as a sommelier or advanced wine professional in a luxury or fine dining environment. Certified Sommelier (Minimum Court of Master Sommeliers Level 2 or WSET Level 3 in wine certification) required; Advanced or higher preferred. Extensive knowledge of global wine regions, producers, varietals, and food pairings. Familiarity with spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverage programs is an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to guide and educate guests and staff. Proficient in POS and inventory systems. Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service Certifications (as applicable). Ability to read, write, and converse in English. Additional languages are a plus.
