The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 2 years customer service experience
Previous hotel food & beverage or banquet experience
Proven experience in food and beverage coordination or related hospitality role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management
Experience with purchasing processes and vendor communication
Familiarity with Banquet Event Orders (BEO) distribution and event coordination
Ability to manage data input accurately and efficiently
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective inbox and communication management skills
Ability to act as a liaison between various department leaders and teams
High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced hotel environment
Open availability including weekends and holidays
Shift Pattern: Varies, typically AM shift starting around 9:00am
Hourly Rate: $22.00 an hour
What will I be doing?
The Food and Beverage Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Food & Beverage and Banquet operations. This position involves managing purchasing processes, data input, and distribution of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), as well as coordinating BEO meetings. The coordinator acts as a key liaison between department leaders. Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet management, along with effective inbox management, is essential for maintaining organized communication and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Food & Beverage and Banquet leadership in daily operations
Manage purchasing processes and vendor communications
Input and maintain accurate data related to events and inventory
Distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and coordinate BEO meetings
Assist with recruiting efforts and candidate management for department staffing as needed
Deliver high-quality customer service across all functions
Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and other data tracking tools
Manage inbox communications and respond promptly to inquiries
Serve as a liaison between different department leaders to ensure seamless coordination
