Fluid System Project Engineer responsible for specifying and integrating fluid components into turbine auxiliary skid systems and managing the technical scope for Gas and Steam Turbine fluid systems.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Experience specifying and integrating valves, pumps, heat exchangers, and instrumentation into skid systems (e.g., lube oil and hydraulic packages)
Experience with Gas and/or Steam Turbine auxiliary systems
Experience developing and configuring Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Experience using COMOS or similar P&ID/engineering design tools
Experience reviewing technical documents including Bills of Materials and vendor drawings
Preferred Skills:
Experience as primary technical contact for fluid systems on turbine or rotating equipment projects
Experience managing technical scope for turbine auxiliary packages from order through execution
Experience with lube oil packages, hydraulic skids, and related fluid systems in power generation or heavy industry
Experience interfacing with I&C, electrical, piping, and layout engineering teams
Experience providing engineering support for implementation and commissioning at customer sites
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as primary contact for all fluid systems-related questions for lube oil packages and hydraulic skids
Manage the complete order execution process for Gas Turbine auxiliaries and fluid system technical scope for Steam and Gas Turbine packages
Develop and configure P&IDs in COMOS for all assigned systems
Specify components and prepare technical specifications for valves, pumps, heat exchangers, and instrumentation
Review and approve technical documents such as Bills of Materials, vendor drawings, and engineering deliverables
Coordinate with internal interface partners including I&C, electrical engineering, piping, and layout to ensure aligned designs
Provide back-office engineering support during implementation and commissioning activities at site
Pay Details: $29.00 to $32.00 per hour
