TheBuild Team Tooling Manageris responsible for leading the development, fabrication, and schedule management of Tooling, Jigs Fixtures, and Work Aids to support the MV-75 Program.
What you’ll be doing as a FLRAA Build Team Manager – Tooling:
Lead the build methodology and execution of Tooling, Jigs, and Fixtures for the manufacture of parts and assemblies for the MV-75 Aircraft.Collaborating with internal and industry-known Technical Subject Matter Experts (Technical Fellows/Technical Competency Leads), and Manufacturing Centers of Excellence to ensure the alignment of Tooling Rapid Prototype Part build strategy.Develop current and future talent for Tool engineering, Tool Project management and Tooling Procurement. Manage internal and external relationships with Build to Print and Partnered Supplier Development to ensure methods, procedures and build aspects meets the requirements of the Program Execution PlanOwns and consults to internal production, procurement, and quality on the producibility inputs to approved methodologies in Tooling design.Establish and drive execution of rapid prototyping Tooling to rapidly delivery components and assemblies to final assembly.Establish and foster relationships with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain teams in coordination and prioritization of shared resources.Builds on a strong relationship with tooling suppliers/integrators, establishing a regular operational cadence and effective management of tool PO Placement, risk mitigation, source inspection, delivery, and maintenance plans for tooling deliverables.FLRAA Build Team Manager – Tooling

Strong working knowledge of Bell’s new product development life cycles and prototype production methodologies. Ability to prioritize work, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team player mindset Must be an excellent communicator, must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external stakeholders, and brief leaders/customers.What you need to be successful:
Bachelor’s of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology or equivalent5 years experience in aerospace or related manufacturing industry experience5 years of experience in Aerospace Tooling managementExposure to Build to Print and Partnered Supplier Development with external vendorsExposure to procurement compliance StandardsAbility to manage tools and assembly fixtures per Bell Process FrameworkWhat we offer you in return
