Join Allied Universal®, is hiring a Floor / Steam Technician. The Floor Technician will upkeep the facility by carrying out all cleaning functions of the floors and/or carpets by using various equipment and machinery.  The main goal is to keep our client’s property in a clean and orderly condition to contribute to a positive shopping experience for patrons.

The Floor / Steam Technician will deliver the highest quality of preventative maintenance cleaning services to floor coverings and architectural surfaces in some of the most impressive commercial facilities in the world. Allied Universal Janitorial Services provides training and equipment to ensure success.

PAY $18.00 per hour

WEEKLY PAY!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate heavy duty pressure washing equipment Safely operate company vehicle and equipment to ensure safety standardsCleaning all areas as assigned.Maintain and keep all equipment running safelyWhile performing this task adhere to high standards in keeping the properties looking at its best.Ensuring that site reports are sent from the company cell phoneEnsuring that all scheduled jobs and time keeping are properly recorded and submittedCompleting all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)No prior work history requiredAbility to work independently with little to no direct supervisionAbility to handle cleaning equipment and machineryKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and suppliesExcellent written, oral, and customer service skillsWillingness to learn new skills and train othersAttention to detailBasic computer skills to be able to access timecards, training, and employment informationAbility to multi-task

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior janitorial work experiencePrior experience as a floor technicianExperience in cleaning and restoring floor coverings such as carpet, tile, vinylValid driver’s license
