Job Summary Details:
Pay: $17.00 per hour
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 7:00am - 5:30pm
The Floor Tech position provides the maintaining and upkeep carpet and hard surface floors.
Benefit Information:

Preferred Qualifications:
• Customer service experience • 1 year of similar work experience
Responsibilities:
Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas. Moving furniture before and after cleaning. Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors. Measuring chemicals correctly. Operating chemical dispensing units. Labeling chemicals correctly. Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently. Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties. Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor. Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the supervisor. Other duties as assigned Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment Gathers and empties trash Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and possibly checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created Miscellaneous duties as assigned
