TalentWorld is recruiting a Floor Supervisor for a temporary assignment with a well-established and reputable manufacturing company located in Plaisance, QC, conveniently situated near Thurso, Masson-Angers, and Gatineau. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, bilingual operations leader with a strong mechanical background and a proven ability to manage small teams in a fast-paced industrial setting.
 
Job Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate daily production activities on the plant floor. Lead a team of approximately 7 production workers to ensure smooth operations. Actively participate in operations – this is a hands-on leadership role. Address and troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise. Monitor workflow, ensure production targets and safety standards are met. Collaborate with other supervisors to cover rotating shifts effectively. Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members. Maintain production records and communicate operational updates to management. Job Qualifications: Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate small teams (approx. 7 employees). Strong understanding of mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Must be fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written). Comfortable working directly on the floor; not just administrative. Clear and confident communicator; able to give direction and provide feedback effectively. Employment Details: Salary: $30/hour Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly Duration: Temporary Schedule: Rotating – Thursday to Saturday Location: Plaisance, QC (near Thurso, Masson-Angers, and Gatineau)
