Floor Cleaner-Janitorial 1st Shift
**Job Summary: Floor Cleaner** The Floor Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall upkeep of the floors. This includes performing routine and non-routine cleaning tasks, supporting hygiene and safety standards, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment across the plant. **Primary Job Responsibilities:** + Learn, apply, and retain new cleaning techniques and procedures for improving service. + Safely and effectively complete work requests as assigned. + Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning activities. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment for self and others at all times. + Flexibly move between work areas to meet customer and hygiene expectations. + Work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision. + Foster a team-oriented environment under leadership direction. + Monitor facility supply issues (e.g., paper, soap dispensers) and escalate concerns to the Facilities Team Leader. + Cooperate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs. + Follow standard work procedures and safety protocols consistently. **Basic Qualifications:** + Valid driver’s license + High school diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution + Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipMust have floor cleaning experience with floor cleaning manual floor scraping and hand machine buffer. These are a must. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Ability to stand, twist, pull, and perform repetitive motion for more than 6 hours per shift + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Reliable attendance, adhering to company attendance policies (e.g., Danfoss guidelines) + Self-directed and capable of working independently with minimal supervision + No relocation assistance available for this positionPlease have job references available.
