This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.
The Flock Management Supervisor will be responsible for a designated group of contract producers. This position will work closely with those contract producers as well as the Grow Out Manager, to arrive at solutions and make decisions that will positively impact their area of responsibility and the profitability of the business.
Key AccountabilitiesWorking with contract growers to ensure compliance of policies, laws, and best management practices (including brooding)Maintaining accurate records of billing, mortality, settlements, etc., in the designated systemPulling fat and blood samples for flock processingCommunicating and working with the grow-out manager and veterinarian staffWorking with support departments to ensure and deliver compliance changes as necessaryResponsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for direct reports#LI-GB4 #FGB #themuse
