 The Floating Service Technician (Maintenance) is responsible for responding to maintenance requests as instructed. This position ensures the physical aspects of the properties meet Mission Rock Residential standards while adhering to the applicable laws 

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Diagnose problems and perform assigned repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, swimming pools, carpentry, dry wall repair, exterior structures, and appliancesEnsures assigned work order requests are responded to promptly and professionallyResponsible for the completed preparation of vacant units for occupancy (unit turn/make-ready), according to specified timelineRemove debris and ensure cleanliness of the grounds and amenities; including, but not limited to the pool/hot tub, playgrounds, sauna, common areas, dog park, and fitness center Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents while promoting a quality living experience for allResponds to on-call services during the assigned rotation, emergency maintenance work, or as needed due to staffing shortagesInspect buildings to ensure safety and cleanliness, alerting the Service Manager and Property Manager immediately to items that need to be addressedAssists management with the vendor bidding process as needed, scheduling and communicating with vendors and contractorsParticipate in Company provided training as requiredComply with all Mission Rock Residential standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal lawsResponsible for snow removal, if applicable, according to Company policyAttendance is imperative and this position will be required to maintain regular onsite hoursAccurately maintain key control system in accordance with Company procedureApplying preventative measures as assigned to reduce the risk of future problemsOther duties as assigned  Requirements

  

Education: 

High School diploma or equivalentEPA, HVAC, CPO Certifications (pool) preferred

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance or related trade is required.

Salary Description $28-$32 Hourly
