Salary: $1440 / Week Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with much respected facilities in Burlington and Haverhill, MA who is currently seeking an RN or LPN to assist in floating at their DDS group homes on a contractual basis. Details of the position include: Location: Haverhill and Burlington, MA Duration: 13 weeks to start with possibility of extension Setting: DDS Openings: + Flexible on days (option of 2-5 days) + Flexible with hours (option of 7a-3p, 8a-4p, 9a-5p) Salary: $60/hr RN, $50/hr LPN POSITION DESCRIPTION: - Willing to float between both group homes in Haverhill and Burlington - Perform comprehensive health assessments and ongoing monitoring of individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABIs) and significant medical and developmental challenges. - Administer medications, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols. - Develop and implement individualized health care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. - Monitor for signs of distress, illness, or behavioral changes and respond appropriately. - Provide emergency care and coordinate with external medical providers when necessary. - Maintain detailed and confidential medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. - Participate in ISP meetings and contribute to person-centered planning. - Advocate for the medical needs and rights of individuals served. QUALIFICATIONS: - Current RN or LPN license in the state of MA. - Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with individuals with severe developmental disabilities or in a similar setting. - Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to medical emergencies. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - CPR and First Aid certification required; additional training in behavioral support or crisis intervention preferred.
