**Job Title: Floater Assembler** Job Description The Floater Assembler will be responsible for assembling HVAC units, including tasks such as painting copper pipes and cleaning the production floor as needed. This role involves working on an assembly line, following assembly and fabrication drawings to install, fasten, wire, and test parts such as fans, coils, motors, and sheet metal components. Manual dexterity, mechanical skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards are essential. Responsibilities + Assemble HVAC units, air handlers, heat exchangers, ductwork, and refrigeration components. + Install and connect motors, compressors, fans, coils, valves, and electronic controls. + Ensure proper alignment, torque, and sealing of mechanical components. + Use hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to fasten and secure parts. + Perform basic wiring, crimping, and terminal connections. + Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules. + Ensure refrigerant and water piping systems are leak-free. + Verify that assembled products comply with assembly and/or fabrication drawings. + Open to being cross-trained in brazing and other duties as required. Essential Skills + 1+ years of mechanical assembly experience. + Strong mechanical aptitude and steady hands for assembly. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Assembly and fabrication experience. + Blueprint reading skills. Why Work Here?
