Job DescriptionPerform inspection and verification of flight component installations and operational functional testing of aircraft systems.Inspect and verify troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults.Document identified faulty components and discrepancies.Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections and ensure all maintenance and modifications meet delivery standards.Support documentation of operational or testing issues found on deliverable products.Verify the accuracy of work performed, including self-inspections.Assist in performing system and subsystem pre-delivery and maintenance inspections.Participate in the planning and execution of assignments to meet a broad range of objectives.Schedule and arrange own work activities with guidance from a lead or supervisor.Create and maintain non-conformance records with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

Minimum of 3 years of aerospace industry experience.At least 3 years of quality inspection and/or auditing experience.3+ years of experience working with Velocity and other 787 production systems.Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.Willingness and ability to work any shift, including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience)

FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) License.3+ years of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk prevention experience.3+ years of experience on the 787 Program.2+ years of team leadership (formal or informal).Proficient in REDARS, PSDS, and Boeing BAC specifications.Skilled in generating all forms of NCRs and EPDs (e.g., NC/NCR/RGEN/PU/SAT/SRR).Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).3+ years of flight line operations experience.
