DHL Air (UK) Ltd is the largest all-cargo air carrier in the UK, operating a fleet of B757-200, B767-300 and B777F aircraft on worldwide operations. We are looking to appoint a self-motivated individual that is people and service focused to join our Flight Support team. Someone who gets it right first time, shows passion in their work and has the “Can Do” spirit that made DHL world leading in Logistics.
To qualify for this opening you will need an impressive attitude to both work and learning, possess first class communication skills and the ability to take a pro-active and enthusiastic approach to contribute positively to a varied and pressured work load whilst adapting to changing priorities as they arise. Exemplary time keeping and attention to detail are essential.
 The Role:Control of Company Flight Operations Manuals, Supplements and Publications, ensuring regulatory complianceResponsible for the draft preparation, proofing editorial, publication, distribution and receipt controlManage the release of Operational information onto mobile platforms for Flight CrewCommunicate with internal and external customers to provide guidance and status updates as neededEnsuring that all associated databases and I.T. user applications are continually maintainedResponsible for the dissemination of time sensitive Flight Crew Notices for crew acknowledgement
Requirements:Excellent computer skills in MS Office and Adobe applications, with a preferred experience in an airline operational environmentHigh level organisation and time management, being fluent in written and spoken English languageHold five GCSE’s – 9-4/A-C (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
The Person:Customer service focused with strong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow proceduresExcellent team working skills with the ability to deal with colleagues at all levelsWilling to embrace the DHL ethos and work accordingly to achieve the targets setFlexible and confident with a positive approach to change and innovation
