What you will be doing as a Flight Mechanic:
In this role, you will collaborate alongside experienced Flight Mechanics to ensure multi-engine aircraft are flight-ready for testing and customer delivery. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining mechanical excellence and safety standards.
Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Mechanical Installation: Install line shortage items, disassemble and reassemble components, and prepare aircraft for flight tests and deliverySystem Checks Adjustments: Perform functional checks, corrections, and adjustments on multi-engine systems to ensure optimal performanceFlight Test Support: Assist in correcting flight test and inspection squawks to meet quality standardsSheet Metal Rework: Conduct minor sheet metal rework as needed to maintain aircraft reliabilityTool Utilization: Use mechanic hand tools and devices like scales, inclinometers, tensiometers, and pressure gauges to perform precise measurements and adjustmentsBlueprint Specification Adherence: Follow blueprints, routers, specifications, and checklists to complete tasks accurately and efficientlyWhat you need to be successful:
A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is requiredAt least 3-6 months of diversified experience with jet, turboprop or piston aircraft, including phase inspections, engine troubleshooting, or servicing is requiredKnowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and components is helpfulAn AP license is helpfulWhy join us?
