Flight Mechanic Responsible for inspecting, servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing avionics systems that perform communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic flight\-control functions\. In addition, will inspect, service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair aircraft batteries, AC/DC power generation, conversion and distribution systems, as well as the electrical control and indication functions of all airframe systems, including hydraulics, flight control, landing gear, fuel, environmental control, power plant, drive train, anti\-ice, and fire detection\. Ground handling and servicing of aircraft, conducting routine aircraft inspections is required\. Will support flight line operations to include servicing, launching and recovery of aircraft\. **What you'll be doing as a Flight Mechanic** Run daily aircraft tests and record aircraft statusInstall, fit, and adjust all types of parts and assemblies where difficult and diversified installations, alignments or adjustments are necessaryPerform difficult repairs and alterations per design changes, removing the required parts and making replacementsWork from blueprints or projects sketches and templates without the use of jigs or fixturesWork to crew loads and follow written and verbal work instructionsPerform scheduled/unscheduled inspectionsInstall and test Gearboxes, Drive shafts, Fuel Systems, Electrical harnesses and Systems, Hydraulic Components, and other SystemsPerform Functional Testing of certain SystemsDrill close tolerance holes using a variety of hand drillsInstall multiple types of fasteners into composite and sheet metalPerform composite and fiberglass bond layup or repairSupport outside rotors turning operations on aircraft in flight status **Qualifications** Skills You Bring To this Role **What you need to be successful** 2 years experience in Aircraft Maintenance or Assembly requiredA & P License Strongly DesiredExperimental Flight Testing Operations Experience strongly desiredDemonstrate ability to perform most of the assembly operations on all parts of the aircraftKnowledgeable of fixture and bench assembly operationsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds What we offer you in return + 80 hours of Personal Time Off \(PTO\) + 120 hours Vacation time + 12\-13 paid holidays per year + 6 weeks parental leave + Tuition reimbursement + Competitive salary + Comprehensive health insurance + Access multiple Employee Resource Groups + And so much more **It's time to make your mark on the future of aviation\.
