The main function of this position is to inspect and convert large press rolls of flexographic (Flexo) web printed and non-printed material into smaller, end-use specific roll sizes.  This requires the set-up and complete operation of three different types of web finishing equipment (rewinds): two (2) ABG 21” converter/rewinders; two (2) 17” ABG rewinds, and two (2) ABG four spindle turret rewinds.
 
A Printing Services Flexo Rewind Operator typically …Responsible for the accurate reading and comprehension of written job specifications. Job specifications provide the production details of each job/finished product.  Responsible for the safe and efficient make-ready (set up) and complete operation of the four different types of rewinds.  Responsible for the safe and efficient operator maintenance and cleanliness of the four different types of rewinds. Responsible for the timely and accurate accounting and reporting of production time and materials, via shop-floor data collection terminals.
