Applies the knowledge of engineering laws and principles by leading activities to perform appropriate maintenance, investigation, functioning, planning, setting up, and assessment of the engineering procedures, structures and tools and the assets that comprise them. Executes and leads the investigative processes to examine and assess the functionality, practicability, activity, and patterns of the engineering structures, elements, and instruments. Monitors progress and ensures the completion of the preparation/creation/compilation of technical reports and/or project status reports. Conducts on site investigations and analyzes relevant data including maps, reports, tests, drawings and other as required. Ensures compliance with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc. and delivers technical files and other technical documentation as required. Develops, trains, and educates junior engineers, guides the technical direction, and serves as a liaison with clients. Performs other duties as required.
