The incumbent is viewed as an expert for the program(s) being administered. The nature of the work is generally varied and administrative or project oriented. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required · 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major and 2+ years of relevant professional experience OR · 4+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance. · Strong project management skills · Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively against timelines · Demonstrated ability to think independently and create solutions · Knowledge of advanced functions of one or more business software packages primarily word processing, spreadsheet and database. **Education and Experience Preferred** N/A **CORE WORK ACTIVITIES** · Make judgments regarding compliance with the program(s) terms and parameters. · Monitor compliance and alerts appropriate person(s) of non-compliance. · Provide technical interpretation of the program/plan documents. · Answer questions pertaining to the program(s) being administered. · Provide information regarding the details and terms of the program(s). · Explain the administrative procedures surrounding the program(s) and research and respond to all questions regarding the program(s) including infrequently asked questions or nonrecurring issues. · Independently perform research and analysis needed to address any questions or issues. May present information to a group. · Compose correspondence or documents pertaining to the program(s) being administered. Many times the correspondence or documents involve unique information pertaining to a specific situation or exception. · Process data related to the administration of the program(s) through an automated system. Reconcile accounts, research discrepancies in the amounts charged to the accounts, and prepare reports related to the program(s) being administered. · Research questions and problems regarding department policies, procedures, information or services, including those of a complex nature. · May develop and/or maintain a tracking or reporting system pertaining to the program(s) being administered utilizing spreadsheet, database or mainframe software. **Supervision Received:** · Incumbent receives minimal supervision. Instructions are received at the beginning of complex projects and sensitive assignments and the resulting work is generally reviewed at completion. Incumbent has a high level of autonomy when handling requirements of their position. · Incumbent is responsible for setting priorities and establishing procedures for completing responsibilities. There may be significant variation in daily workload which requires constant, independent prioritization. The pay range for this position is $24.23 to $40.96 per hour.
