This is a temporary position.
This role will provide asset management support to the Global Technology Procurement & Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and analyzing large volumes of enterprise level data, including data from conversions, acquisitions, and integrations with a high level of reliability.
**EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS**
+ Proactively monitors, enforces, and updates asset management standards with a focus on hardware, to meet business requirements and evolving needs.
+ Tracks, monitors, and analyzes asset data for utilization, deployment, and reconciliation to drive compliance and cost savings.
+ Supports analytical activities related to workforce technology sourcing and renewals, including developing moderately complex financial models to help leadership make informed business decisions.
+ Applies data management best practices to cleanse, process, document, validate and report asset management data.
+ Responsible for developing and distributing regular reports in Excel and PowerPoint to Global Technology Procurement leadership.
+ Leverages data to identify and surface opportunities to reduce costs, reduce risks, and/or improve operational efficiencies.
+ Assists with presentation development for executive audiences.
+ Establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.
+ Enables self-service for employees procuring workforce technology assets through Marriott’s established procurement process.
+ Performs other analyses as required.
**Hardware Asset Management “HAM” Specific Processes:**
+ Creates ServiceNow compliance reports and dashboards for various stakeholders.
+ Creates and maintains ServiceNow hardware metrics dashboards for the Global Technology Procurement team.
+ Creates ServiceNow reports on hardware assets and provide analysis in Excel, PowerBI or other analytical tools and presentation in PowerPoint.
+ Maintains select hardware asset information in ServiceNow.
+ Tracks, monitors, and analyzes hardware asset data for utilization, deployment, and reconciliation to support compliance.
+ Supports analytical activities related to hardware sourcing and renewals, including developing basic to moderately complex financial models.
+ Applies data management best practices to cleanse, process, document, validate and report hardware asset management data.
+ Assists with hardware-related reports and presentation development for various audiences, including executive-level when required.
+ Supports hardware asset management project implementation efforts as directed by the Manager.
+ Serves as a Hardware Asset Management (HAM) ServiceNow data normalization specialist, ensuring hardware data integrated into the ServiceNow CMDB from other sources is accurate.
+ Assists in hardware asset management life-cycle activities, from acquisition through retirement/disposal.
+ Monitors and reports on select hardware asset Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to internal stakeholders.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
+ Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience including complex data analysis and financial modeling or equivalent work experience
+ Previous ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management and HAM Workspace experience preferred.
+ Knowledge of ServiceNow, Bigfix, Maark & WorkspaceOne or other discovery tools.
+ Strong excel spreadsheet skills, word processing, and presentation software skills.
+ Ability to organize and interpret complex, detailed asset management information.
+ Capable of extracting, interpreting, and manipulating database table structures.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects, and work both independently and as part of a team.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
+ Ability to collaborate with others and to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Strong communication skills, creating an environment allowing timely information flows throughout the organization.
+ Ability to translate analytical results to simple terms.
+ Ability to concurrently navigate multiple tools sets and systems.
**Education and Professional Certification**
+ Bachelor’s Degree required (IT, Computer Science, Business, or similar discipline)

+ The position is based in Bethesda, MD.
The pay range for this position is $33.94 to $56.88 per hour.
