This role will collaborate with business partners and technical teams to maintain a well-groomed product backlog of features to include refined user stories with solid technical solutions that are ready for development. In addition to owning a product, this role requires project management skills to be able to work with internal and external teams to drive program deliverables. The candidate would be able to produce any of the following deliverables in this role: A project plan, a product roadmap, risk and issue assessments, status updates, etc. On a day to day this candidate will need to communicate with: product peers, engineers, VP Leadership, external business partners/vendors. Skills: + Product Owner experience managing and prioritizing product backlog + Experience with Agile Development methodology and tools (CSM certification a plus); ability to define features and stories. + Experience with project management best practices (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc) + Ability to convert business needs into technology requirements, tasks, or milestones for the team to deliver + Excellent communicator, both written and spoken. Must be able to explain product vision, business objective, technical feasibility, define requirements, risks, issues, project milestones and technical implementations + Demonstrated ability to drive work across multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment + Demonstrated ability to deliver results under challenging conditions, particularly when faced with complexity, ambiguity, and aggressive timelines Education: + Undergraduate degreeor equivalent experience/certification + 3 years’ experience in information technology application design or development or related professional area There are 2 roles within the Commerce team open; one for the Reservation team and one for the Distribution team. The pay range for this position is $44.85 to $70.63 per hour.
