This role serves as the project lead for Marriott International and acts as a liaison with project leads from our vendors to transition all our hotels from using Saflok System 6000 to Ambiance. This role will require minimal travel. This role acts as a liaison between hotels, Dormakaba, Tanager, and the Global Operations/Global Technology project team to ensure smooth implementation and transition of lock systems. The role also involves identifying and resolving opportunities in the deployment strategy for 2,500 hotels, guiding the Deployment team through IT remediation in preparation for the Ambiance rollout, and tracking and escalating trending issues to relevant parties to find root cause resolutions. **CANDIDATE PROFILE** **Education and Experience** _Required_ · 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, Engineering Information Technology, Information Systems, or related major; or equivalent experience. · Experience with one or more of the PMS systems (FSPMS, FOSSE, LightSpeed, Opera). · Experience working with external vendors and systems. _Preferred_ · Expertise in above property Digital Guest Experience Environment. · Experience with large initiatives and processes needed to lead and/or support delivery and ongoing support. · Possesses excellent project management skills and ability to independently manage multiple projects and competing priorities. **CORE WORK ACTIVITIES** · Partner with DormaKaba and Tanager leaders to upgrade 2,500 hotels in the US and Canada from Saflok System 6000 to Ambiance v2.16. · Ensure compliance with MIP-44 guidelines, especially for expense reporting, and process reports within these guidelines. · Provide direction and support for designated projects and new initiatives. · Identify key drivers of success and focus on critical areas to achieve results. · Address operational challenges with leadership and develop alternative solutions, incorporating stakeholder feedback. · Facilitate departmental feedback and recommend resolutions or improvements. · Identify trends, gaps, or patterns in business processes and lead strategies to improve tools, processes, and team performance. · Collaborate and communicate with the team using technology like Microsoft Teams and Smartsheet. · Analyze success measures and recommend new or improved implementation strategies. · Respond to property requests, manage business demands, and document within department guidelines, providing proactive solutions. · Manage cross-discipline projects, including tracking, analysis, and reporting of results. · Use technology to analyze business processes and create efficiencies. · Ensure IT readiness of properties before installing the new system to avoid project delays. · Host weekly project meetings with vendors to review installations, identify trends, and collaborate on solutions. · Support the Project Services team in updating communications about the Ambiance upgrade through various mediums. The pay range for this position is $35.48 to $59.81 per hour. Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
