This is a temporary position.
Hotel design and operations are being transformed with technology at an incredible pace. Marriott’s Design Technology team will define how technology will transform the way we work with franchise owners to design, build, renovate, and operate the largest global portfolio of hotels. We aim to leverage technology to improve the speed at which hotel properties can be built, remodeled, or converted to a Marriott portfolio brand according to Marriott’s brand standards and specifications and ensure they are run in a way that continues to meet those standards.
The Content Manager will support the Global Lodging Product Platform to ensure our content is leveraged strategically across mission-critical tools and systems that our teams and owners use to efficiently design, build, renovate and operate on-brand hotels all over the world. Experience with content migrations, information architecture, and content governance is highly valued.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
**Education and Experience Required**
+ 4-year degree from an accredited university
+ Four or more years of experience in digital content management, content operations, or content strategy roles
+ Experience contributing or leading content migration projects
+ Familiarity with structured content, content modeling, and headless CMS implementation
+ Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills
+ Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions
**Education and Experience Preferred**
+ Background in hospitality, franchising, or complex B2B environments
+ Knowledge of Information Architecture/UX best practices
**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
+ Lead and manage digital content migration projects across multiple platforms and regions.
+ Collaborate with Content Strategists, UX, Development, Design Strategies, and Lodging Product Category/Brand teams to structure and maintain high-quality content.
+ Support content development and content management tasks including content modeling, metadata frameworks, and ensuring consistency and discoverability.
+ Manage content entry process, leveraging automation to the extent possible.
+ Serve as a key point of contact for content governance, enforcing both editorial and structural standards.
+ Collaborate with various HQ business stakeholders (brand, design, operations, product, and procurement teams) and internal partners (Marriott Continent teams, Lodging Category/Brand Management, IT, etc.)
+ Model content requirements for the most efficient and strategic use within Marriott’s Lodging Product content platforms and systems. Identify content modeling needs for each of the new projects based on business objectives, user feedback, reporting analysis, and industry trends.
+ Audit, tag, organize, and maintain content in alignment with design, brand, and operating standards.
+ Serve as POC and SME for areas where new content modeling opportunities arise within HQ or other stakeholder partners.
+ Analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement in the Content strategy and user engagement.
The pay range for this position is $35.48 to $48.89 per hour.
**Washington Applicants Only:** Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
