Position Summary:
The Fleet Production Analyst supports the Vehicle Supply department by working with our suppliers daily to mitigate delays and work through challenges to ensure the best possible production and delivery schedule. The Production Analyst will drive performance by leading meetings and analyzing data to ensure our vendors meet operational standards.
This position will also support our field associates by providing accurate updates and coordinating anything needing to be done or communicated back to the supplier on each unit (timing, status update, commentary, additional work, problem resolution etc.).

Major Responsibilities:
Facilitate calls/meetings to manager relationship, gather data, and challenge our suppliers/ transporters.
Analyze production schedule to identify gaps and work with Suppliers to resolve and mitigate delays.
Address issues from customer inquiries on units in production or transportation process in a timely manner.
Resolve invoicing, MSO, component serial number, liftgate ordering concerns with industry partners.
Support transportation needs by dispatching drivers to pick up and deliver equipment for new builds, rental relocations, and used vehicle moves. Ensuring on time delivery to end customer.
Following up on breakdowns and/or units on hold.
Owning the cross-border process
Use production and delivery data to make business decisions, create metrics and report out to leadership.
Other projects assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Analyzing data experience required with ability to drive information from data to make decision and recommendations
3 to 5 years of transportation industry experience preferred
Microsoft Excel experience required
Must have clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Must be comfortable presenting and leading calls/meetings
AS400 experience preferred
Microsoft Access experience preferred
Must have desire to learn and develop your skillsets
Must have ability to work independently, in groups, and with Suppliers
Professionalism a must (communication, attendance, conduct, attire etc.)
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
