vehicle fleet to ensure efficient safe and cost effective use Responsibilities include but are not limited to the followingSystemwide Fleet Management Leadershipo Supervise Regional Fleet Coordinators Regional Fleet Coordinators will have matrix reporting to the System Manager Fleet Managemento Monitor team productivity to ensure efficient fleet operations across the organizationo Foster a culture of accountability safety and excellence within the fleet teamDevelop and implement fleet strategies that align with the health systems operational objectiveso Monitor fleet performance metrics and lead initiatives to improve utilization reduce costs and enhance service qualityo Ensure consistency in fleet operations across all departments and locationso Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance safety metrics and financial statusOversee compliance with all local state and federal transportation regulationso Conduct audits of fleet operations to identify and mitigate risks ensuring adherence to safety protocolso Manage incident reporting and resolution including accident investigations and preventive measuresAct as the primary liaison between the fleet team and other departments ensuring alignment with organizational needso Collaborate with logistics facilities and clinical teams to support patient care and operational objectiveso Engage with external vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and maintain high service standardsFleet emergency preparedness and readinesso Develop and oversee emergency response plans for fleet operations ensuring readiness
